Synopsis
The Club (Kulüp, 2021), Season 1 is a Turkish period drama you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes set in the cosmopolitan Istanbul of the 1950s. A Sephardic seamstress walks out of prison and tries to find her way back to the daughter she never raised.
To stay close to the rebellious Raşel, Matilda takes a job at a glamorous nightclub. Her new boss is Çelebi, a manager nursing a grudge whose history turns out to be tangled with hers. The season unspools a family secret slowly. Matilda tells her daughter about an old tragedy but leaves out the part that matters most, while Raşel falls for İsmet and every protective move only pushes the two of them apart. Around them: a singer's opening nights, backroom schemes, and political winds that leave no one safe.
