Synopsis
Master of None (2015), Season 1 is Aziz Ansari's Netflix comedy-drama, ten episodes you can watch online on iFILM. Dev, a thirty-year-old New York actor of Indian descent, scrapes by on commercial gigs while trying to work out how adulthood is supposed to function.
The first season plays as near-standalone stories: whether to have kids, how to thank immigrant parents who never ask for thanks, what to do about the casual racism of auditions where an Indian actor only gets an accent. Running underneath is Rachel — from a first date and a spur-of-the-moment trip to Nashville to the less charming truths of living together.
