The darkest hour is just before the dawn.
Synopsis
Into the Night (2020), Season 1 is a Belgian survival thriller you can watch online on iFILM — six episodes, one airliner, and a sunrise that has started to kill. The only way to stay alive is to keep flying west, ahead of the dawn.
An overnight flight out of Brussels is hijacked by an armed soldier who knows what's coming. Former military pilot Sylvie ends up in the cockpit, mechanic Jakub argues over every decision, and a brief Wi-Fi signal confirms there is nothing left to land back to. From there it never lets up: fuel runs low, systems fail, one passenger faces a hasty mid-air trial, and a rumored NATO shelter sends the group chasing the horizon. The tighter the cabin gets, the harder it is to know who's worth trusting.
Adapted from Jacek Dukaj's Polish novel The Old Axolotl, the show keeps its apocalypse small and contained — the whole disaster fits inside a fuselage. This first season trades scale for claustrophobia and pace, and all six episodes go down in a single sitting. Stream Into the Night Season 1 online on iFILM.
