Synopsis

The man who steps in to investigate is Professor Yang Jong-hoon, a former prosecutor with a razor tongue and few friends among his students. The trouble: the evidence points straight at him. From there the case coils like a double helix — police interrogate the professor while top student Joon-hwi slides into the suspect pool, and a second autopsy muddies everything. Yang turns his own trial into a homework assignment, and Kang Sol A, a girl from a poor family, learns the law in a courtroom instead of a textbook. A separate self-defense case involving Ye-seul runs alongside it.
