The 8 Show (Season 1)

The 8 Show (2024) is a Korean Netflix series — all episodes available to watch online on iFILM. Director Han Jae-rim locks eight strangers inside a sealed eight-story building with one rule: time spent inside earns money, and the higher your floor, the higher your rate. Ryu Jun-yeol and Chun Woo-hee lead the cast alongside Park Jeong-min, Lee Yeol-eum and Park Hae-jun.

Nobody explains the full rulebook. The eight participants have to work it out themselves — through negotiation, deception and the occasional act of outright cruelty. The longer you stay, the more you earn. Simple enough, until people start doing the math on what staying costs them, and what they are willing to do to others to stay a little longer. A quiet hierarchy forms along the floors, and the building starts feeling less like a game set and more like a very literal map of how power works.
