Synopsis
Cowboy Bebop (2021), Season 1 is the live-action crime sci-fi you can watch online on iFILM — ten Netflix episodes adapted from the cult anime. Long on style, short on cash, the bounty hunters take whatever job the solar system throws at them.
Spike, Jet, and a freshly attached Faye chase marks from New Tijuana to Venus: a one-handed bomber, a con woman out of Faye's past, a fugitive holed up in a brothel. The week-to-week hustle is only half of it, though. Vicious is climbing the Syndicate and hires an assassin to put Spike in the ground, while Julia's name surfaces where Spike least wants to hear it. The closer the finale gets, the less room there is to outrun his own history.
The showrunner keeps the original's episodic shape but threads a Syndicate arc through it and gives Julia far more to do. John Cho plays Spike as a tired man who remembers exactly who he used to be. Anime fans will have plenty to argue about. Stream Cowboy Bebop Season 1 online on iFILM.
