Synopsis
Augie Doggie and Doggie Daddy (1959), Season 1 is a vintage Hanna-Barbera cartoon you can watch online on iFILM — twenty-six short episodes of pup-and-pop slapstick.
The setup barely changes, and that's the charm. Inventive little Augie keeps hauling strays back to the house — a friendless skunk, a runaway circus lion, an orphaned duck, even an ostrich fresh out of the egg — while tinkering with flying saucers and a robot butler on the side. Doggie Daddy sighs his catchphrase, "my dear son," and bails the boy out every single time.
