This is the second and closing half of the Ju-on reboot duology, picking up directly after The Beginning of the End (2014). Taira Airi anchors the film with a calm that makes the horror feel quieter and more personal than usual for the series. Ochiai resists the impulse to escalate — the dread here lives in empty hallways and the creeping sense that the curse has already decided the outcome.
