Synopsis
Terkel in Trouble (Terkel i knibe, 2004) is a Danish adult animated comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The trouble starts the moment sixth-grader Terkel sits down on a poisonous black spider — and his luck only gets worse from there.
His teacher drops dead and is replaced by the unnerving Justin. At home, Uncle Stewart keeps flying into rage. At school, two bullies make Terkel's days miserable once they find out that chubby Doris has a crush on him. Then, on a class camping trip, the death threats begin, and Terkel has to work out which of the people around him actually wants him dead.
Comedian Anders Matthesen voices nearly every character, and his crude, pitch-black sense of humor is what turned this into a cult favorite in Denmark. Mean-spirited, grim and oddly hilarious, it is no kids' cartoon. Stream Terkel in Trouble (2004) online on iFILM.
