The Eye 2

The Eye 2 (見鬼2, 2004) is a Hong Kong–Thai horror film from the Pang Brothers, available to watch online on iFILM. It shares a universe with the original but follows an entirely different story and a new lead.

Joey is trying to move past a painful breakup when she finds out she is pregnant. The visions start almost immediately: a pale woman throws herself onto subway tracks, shadows trail her through crowds, and none of it stops when she looks away. A Buddhist monk offers an explanation that is worse than the hallucinations — suicidal spirits linger near pregnant women, waiting for a newborn body to inhabit. Shu Qi carries the film through its slow-burn dread, playing a woman who cannot outrun something she cannot prove is real.
