Synopsis
Are You Afraid of the Dark? (2019) Season 1 is a teen-horror revival you can watch online on iFILM — three chapter-episodes that run as one continuous tale. The Midnight Society gathers again to trade campfire scares.
It starts with the new kid. Rachel arrives in an unfamiliar town, haunted by nightmares, and earns her place in the secret club by spinning a frightening story about the Carnival of Doom and its sinister ringmaster, Mr. Tophat. Then the made-up story refuses to stay made up. A friend vanishes, the carnival from her dreams turns out to be real, and the group has to figure out how to undo what they set loose. Three parts, three steps toward the reckoning.
This is a compact mini-season — only three episodes, so the plot stays tight with no filler. It lands best with fans of kid-friendly horror in the old anthology mold: spookier than Goosebumps, never too much. Stream Are You Afraid of the Dark? Season 1 online on iFILM.
