Tour de Force

Tour de Force (original title Hin und Weg, 2014) is a German comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Christian Zübert. Florian David Fitz, Jürgen Vogel, and Volker Bruch play a tight group of old friends on their annual cycling trip — this year through Belgium.

Not long after they set off, Hannes tells the others he has an incurable illness. This ride is his last. Zübert refuses to wring tears on cue; he lets the characters be confused, funny, and occasionally selfish before they figure out how to be present.
