Synopsis
Keane (2004) is an American independent drama you can watch online on iFILM. Damien Lewis plays William Keane — a man six months into a loss he cannot process and will not leave behind.
His six-year-old daughter was taken from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York. He keeps returning to the spot. Every day, back in that waiting area, pacing the same floor, scanning the same crowd. He may have schizophrenia. Director Lodge Kerrigan holds that question open deliberately: whether the abduction was real, or whether it exists only inside a mind that has come apart.
Kerrigan shot the film in close handheld proximity, and Lewis doesn't break once. Abigail Breslin and Amy Ryan appear in supporting roles. Hard to watch — not for violence, but for how precisely grief is rendered. Stream Keane online on iFILM.
