Synopsis

Thirteen-year-old Andrea isn't thrilled about summer — her best friend is moving to California, and the new neighbor Conor mostly gets on her nerves. Then he talks her onto a beach volleyball team, and the tournament's top prize happens to be a trip to California. Buddy can't stay away from the ball, naturally. Things are going well until a pair of drifting crooks snatch the dog, planning to use his uncanny skills to lift a prized piece from the local museum.
