GO (2001) is Isao Yukisada's Japanese drama you can watch online on iFILM. It centers on Sugihara, a high-schooler from a third-generation Korean family that the country still refuses to fully accept.

Sugihara throws punches, blasts rock and rejects the labels "Korean" or "Japanese" — he just wants to be himself. Then he falls for Tsubaki, a Japanese classmate who knows nothing of his background, and telling her could cost him everything. Yosuke Kubozuka plays him raw and restless; Ko Shibasaki is the girl next to whom ethnicity suddenly hardens into a verdict.

Adapted from Kazuki Kaneshiro's award-winning novel, the film swept the Japan Academy Prize for Best Picture and still ranks among the franker statements about the Zainichi, Japan's Korean minority.
