Synopsis
Chemical Hearts (2020) is Richard Tanne's teen romance you can watch online on iFILM. Seventeen-year-old Henry Page calls himself a romantic even though he's never been in love, right up until a new girl, Grace Town, transfers into his senior year.
Grace walks with a cane, keeps her distance, and carries a grief she's in no hurry to explain. The two get paired to run the school newspaper, and that forced partnership turns into Henry's first real feelings for someone. Trouble is, Grace isn't the dream girl he imagined love would be: she's tied to a past that means more to her than the present, and Henry has to learn you can't fix another person by loving them.
Austin Abrams leads opposite Lily Reinhart of Riverdale, working from Krystal Sutherland's novel. It's more honest than most high-school dramas, refusing to pretend first love patches everything and treating heartbreak as part of growing up.
