Synopsis
Young Sherlock (2026), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM, an eight-episode detective adventure that drops a teenage Holmes straight into a hanging offence. Oxford, 1871: nineteen-year-old Sherlock walks out of jail thanks to his brother Mycroft and within days is the prime suspect in a professor's murder.
It's his very first case, and it refuses to stay small. To stay off the gallows, Sherlock teams with a fellow student named Moriarty — a friendship not yet poisoned by what's coming. The Oxford killings lead to a stolen Chinese scroll, a princess who isn't one, a hidden chemical-weapons trade, and the wound underneath it all: the death of his sister Beatrice, which he blames on himself. The harder he digs, the clearer it gets that the accident was staged.
Hiro Fiennes-Tiffin plays Holmes before the legend — reckless, unpolished, no armour yet. Colin Firth and Joseph Fiennes fill out the older roles. The eight episodes run as a single building case rather than stand-alone mysteries. Stream Young Sherlock Season 1 online on iFILM.
