Synopsis
Wicked Little Things (2006) is an American horror film directed by J.S. Cardone — watch online on iFILM. Karen moves to rural Pennsylvania with her two daughters, Sarah and Emma, after inheriting an old house she's never seen. The property is quiet and the forest runs right up to the back door. That should have been the warning.
In 1913, a mine sat on this land and children worked it until a cave-in sealed them underground. Nobody ever brought them out. Emma, played by a young Chloë Grace Moretz, starts slipping off into the trees to visit a new friend named Mary. Karen finds brittle newspaper clippings in the basement and starts understanding why none of the neighbours will talk about what happens after dark.
The film earns its dread from one specific source: the horror of children who are wrong. Not monsters, not ghosts in white sheets — just kids who should not be walking around. Cardone keeps the rural Pennsylvania atmosphere cold and flat, which suits the material. Stream Wicked Little Things (2006) online on iFILM.
