Synopsis
One Missed Call 3: Final (着信アリ Final, 2006) is a Japanese horror you can watch online on iFILM. It closes out the trilogy about phone calls that arrive from the dead.
Asuka, a quiet girl worn down by classroom bullying, finds her opening during a school trip to South Korea. She forwards her tormentors a cursed photo with one rule: pass it on and live, keep it and die. What begins as payback spirals into a chain of frightened teenagers shipping death to their friends to buy themselves one more day.
Director Manabu Asou wraps the series Takashi Miike launched in 2003, keeping the real horror grounded not in the ghost but in how fast ordinary kids will sacrifice each other. The cursed-cellphone hook nods to Ringu, reworked for the texting generation, and Korean star Jang Geun-suk turns up in a supporting role. Worth a look if you grew up on 2000s J-horror.
