Synopsis

Klaus Hoffmann returns to Berlin as a celebrated hero and immediately walks into surveillance. His sister Hannie's marriage is paperwork only; she's building a new life and gets pulled into the Lebensborn program through a twelve-year-old girl she meets. Commander Buchner takes U-949 into the Mediterranean under heavy fire. The spy known as "Fidelio" has a name now — and Hoffmann grasps that the Allied invasion is already underway before anyone in Berlin will admit it.
