Synopsis
Hogfather (2007) — watch online on iFILM, a British fantasy TV film based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld novel, directed by Vadim Jean for Sky One.
Someone has hired Ankh-Morpork's Assassins' Guild to make the Hogfather disappear. The Hogfather is Discworld's equivalent of Santa Claus — and if children stop believing in him, the sun simply won't rise. Death (voiced by Ian Richardson) takes over the role, riding hogs in a red cloak, while his granddaughter Susan (Michelle Dockery) hunts the man responsible: Mr. Teatime (Marc Warren), an assassin who is unsettling in precise, methodical ways. David Jason plays Albert, Death's loyal manservant, and Terry Pratchett himself makes a brief appearance.
At just over three hours, this is one of the more faithful Pratchett adaptations — strange and genuinely dark underneath the holiday surface, a story about why belief matters wrapped around a murder plot. Stream Hogfather (2007) online on iFILM.
