Synopsis
Love & Revolution (2023), known in Spanish as Te estoy amando locamente, is a Spanish dramedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Alejandro Marín sets it in Seville in 1977, when being gay was still a crime.
Reme is an ordinary housewife whose world runs on appearances and Sunday Mass. Then her teenage son, an aspiring performer, falls for another boy — and a mother's love turns out to be stronger than her prejudice. Ana Wagener plays Reme as she edges, step by step, into Andalusia's first LGBTQ+ movement, which oddly enough grew out of a church congregation.
