Bitter Christmas

Elsa (Bárbara Lennie) runs an ad agency and, after her mother's death, keeps running. A panic attack grounds her. Her friend Patricia pulls her to Lanzarote while Elsa's partner Bonifacio (Leonardo Sbaraglia) stays back in Madrid. In a parallel story, a screenwriter and a film director discover that their invented characters have started behaving disturbingly like real people.
