Synopsis
Burning Body (El cuerpo en llamas, 2023) is a Spanish crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Near a reservoir outside Barcelona, a burnt-out car turns up with the charred body of a city police officer inside.
Suspicion quickly lands on two of the victim's colleagues — his girlfriend Rosa, also on the force, and her lover. Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo from Money Heist) plays Rosa as cold, calculating and impossible to fully trust. Across eight episodes the case is retold from her side, then from the investigators', and each version argues with the one before it.
The scripts draw on a notorious 2017 trial in Barcelona, yet directors Jorge Torregrossa and Laura Mañá skip the dry reconstruction and chase something messier — desire, manipulation and how easily the truth drowns in lies.
