Synopsis
City of Shadows (Ciudad de sombras, 2025) is a Spanish crime mystery you can watch online on iFILM. Barcelona wakes to a grisly sight: a charred body strung up across the rippling facade of La Pedrera, Gaudí's celebrated Casa Milà. The case is too loud to ignore, and the city needs someone who can actually crack it.
That someone is Milo Malart — a detective the Catalan police once suspended for insubordination. They pull him back into service and pair him with Sub-Inspector Rebeca Garrido. The deeper the two dig, the clearer it becomes that the killer chose a modernist landmark on purpose, while red tape and nervous superiors slow them down almost as much as the culprit does. Isak Férriz and Verónica Echegui lead the cast.
Directed by Jorge Torregrossa, the series turns Barcelona into something more than a postcard backdrop — a cold, deceptively beautiful accomplice to the crime.
