Nothing leaves Carl's backyard. Squirrel! And Dug is squaring off with his sworn enemy again. Across the other shorts he babysits puppies and discovers they're a handful, catches a smell he's never met before, sits through fireworks he enjoys far less than Carl does, and finally teams up with Russell to find a new way to talk to the "neighbors." It all plays out through one dog's slightly distorted, endlessly hopeful eyes.
