Jagdish "Jolly" Tyagi came to the capital chasing a career and got handed a pawn's role instead. The celebrity defense attorney Rajpal — played by Boman Irani — drops the client on purpose, planning to return on better terms and humiliate the rookie along the way. So Jolly files a public-interest petition and, to everyone's surprise, turns into a national figure. Arshad Warsi plays the bumbler who proves far more stubborn than anyone bargained for, while Saurabh Shukla is the weary judge nursing his own grudge against the machine.
