Three pilots climb into the cockpits of walking war machines to defend the coast. David Chokachi leads the squad, with Oscar-nominated veteran Graham Greene barking the orders. From there it's all gunfire, collapsing waterfronts and skyscraper-sized beasts.

Directed by Jared Cohn for The Asylum, the film hit screens right alongside the far bigger Pacific Rim — the studio's usual playbook. The budget is thin and the effects are basic.
