Christine has lived on the streets for years — food banks, a spot under a bridge, a habit of letting no one close. The boy crying by her doorway is Suli, an Eritrean child separated from his mother. Two people from the very bottom of the city set off to find her across the Paris that never makes the postcards: cellars, hostels, immigration offices. Frot plays it almost wordlessly, carrying whole scenes on a look and a tightened jaw.
