Ferry

Ferry (2021) is a Belgian crime film directed by Cecilia Verheyden — watch it online on iFILM. Frank Lammers reprises the role of Ferry Bouman, the drug lord familiar to viewers of the Netflix series Undercover, in a story set years before his empire existed.

This is origin territory. Ferry returns to his hometown in the Brabant region on a revenge mission. What he finds there is more complicated than a score to settle: old loyalties pull in different directions, a woman changes his calculations, and every choice he makes here lays a brick in the person he will eventually become.

Frank Lammers does most of the heavy lifting through physicality and restraint — Ferry thinks before he acts, and watching that thinking is where the film earns its runtime.
