Endgame

Endgame (人潮汹涌, 2021) is a Chinese crime comedy starring Andy Lau that you can watch online on iFILM. A luckless movie extra botches his own suicide, shuffles off to a bathhouse, and walks back out wearing another man's life.

At the bathhouse an accident leaves a top contract killer with no memory at all. The broke extra grabs the stranger's ID, apartment and polished routine, certain he has finally lucked into a better existence — but a hitman's life comes with a hitman's problems, and both men are forced to rethink what they actually want from their own. Director Rao Xiaozhi reworks the Japanese hit Key of Life for a mainland setting, and Andy Lau plays the fastidious assassin with dry, understated wit.
