Life in a Day 2020 (2021) is a documentary you can watch online on iFILM. On 25 July 2020, thousands of people across the planet pointed a camera at their own ordinary day, and a director stitched the footage into one single film.

The project comes from Ridley Scott and Oscar winner Kevin Macdonald, who — a decade after the first edition — again asked the public to send clips of twenty-four hours in their lives: a birth, a goodbye, a morning coffee, a worry about what comes next. The result is a portrait of the world during a pandemic year, built from amateur shots on six continents. No script, no narrator, just edited fragments of real people.
