Synopsis

Kenneth is a technical writer at a large corporation — self-contained, precise, invisible to most of his colleagues. He orders an anatomically accurate silicone doll online and names her Nikki, modeled after his coworker Lisa (Melissa Sagemiller). Nikki has no preferences of her own. She does exactly what Kenneth wants. When the real Lisa starts showing genuine interest in him, he finds it irritating rather than flattering — a living person has habits and needs of her own, and that turns out to be a problem he cannot manage.
Desmond Harrington keeps the film uncomfortable throughout. Udo Kier, Rip Torn, and a young Michael Pena appear in supporting roles.
