Synopsis
Les Vengeances de Maître Poutifard (2023) is a French-Belgian family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. After four decades of being mocked by his pupils, schoolteacher Poutifard finally retires. He fills his newfound free time with a single project: tracking down everyone who ever humiliated him and settling the score.
Christian Clavier, the face of Astérix and the Les Visiteurs films, plays the grumbling teacher. Poutifard draws up a list of former students and rolls out a series of elaborate, mostly harmless pranks, with his sister, played by Isabelle Nanti, roped in to help. The catch becomes clear fast: revenge is messier and far less satisfying than he imagined. Pierre-François Martin-Laval directs.
