Synopsis
Dahmer (2002) is David Jacobson's cold true-crime drama, available to watch online on iFILM. A young Jeremy Renner — years before the Avengers — plays Jeffrey Dahmer, the Milwaukee killer whose name still makes people flinch.
This isn't a body-count thriller. The camera stays close to a quiet chocolate-factory worker who lures men home and never lets them leave. Two timelines braid together: a present-day night with one more victim (Artel Great), and fragments of a boyhood shaped by a distant father (Bruce Davison) and a lot of silence.
Jacobson keeps it sparse — barely any score, barely any gore — so the dread lives in how ordinary everything looks. It plays less like a slasher than a study of a man who stopped registering other people's pain; if you want jump scares, skip it, but patient psychological cinema will reward you. The real Dahmer drew a 937-year sentence in 1992. Stream Dahmer (2002) online on iFILM.
