Synopsis
Watch Celebrity Deathmatch Season 2 online on iFILM — twenty-one episodes of MTV claymation mayhem from 1999, where celebrities climb back into the ring and the loser doesn't walk out alive. The show came back bigger.
More fights per episode, a bolder roster. Madonna goes to war with Michael Jackson, Tyson meets Holyfield again, Scorsese clashes with Oliver Stone, De Niro grinds against Pacino. The season raids history too — Gandhi versus Genghis Khan, Moses versus Pharaoh, Lincoln versus Washington. Themed episodes pile up: a comedians' night, a movie-themed card, a Halloween special, family pairs of celebrity relatives. Nick Diamond and Johnny Gomes commentate, Mills Lane referees, and the clay blood keeps flying.
Eric Fogel pushes the formula to its limit in year two — meaner parody, more inventive matchups, more gags crammed into the run than the debut managed.
