Synopsis
Flodder Does Manhattan! (1992) is Dick Maas's Dutch comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. To finally be rid of the most disgraceful family in the Netherlands, the mayor of Sunny Dale ships them off to New York on an international exchange.
Once stateside, the Flodders get mistaken for a delegation of Russian doctors, while Werner, the social worker babysitting them, ends up behind bars. From there it's exactly what the series is loved for: a loud, shameless, fearless clan steamrolling the polite manners of the big city. Maas isn't after a clever plot — he wants broad farce, wreckage and absurdity, and he gets all three.
This is the second feature sequel in the cult Dutch franchise, with familiar American faces popping up in small parts, including John Polito and Vincent Pastore.
