Memories of My Father

Memories of My Father (El olvido que seremos, 2020) is Fernando Trueba's drama, which you can watch online on iFILM. Trueba adapted the memoir that writer Héctor Abad Faciolince wrote about his own father, a book read across Latin America almost as a national text. It screened in the 2020 Cannes selection and works not through big set-pieces but through a quiet tenderness toward a man now gone.
