Synopsis
Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever (2002) is an action thriller with Antonio Banderas and Lucy Liu you can watch online on iFILM. Ex-FBI man Jeremiah Ecks and rogue agent Sever have spent years hunting each other to a standstill — until a threat bigger than their feud forces them onto the same side.
That threat is a tiny implantable device, slipped under a victim's skin and triggered on command to kill at a distance. To shut it down, the two sworn enemies grudgingly team up. From there it's gunfights, blown-out buildings and chases with barely a pause for breath; director Wych Kaosayananda chases mood and momentum over plot logic. Gregg Henry, Ray Park and Talisa Soto round out the cast.
The movie is best known as one of the most savagely panned releases of the early 2000s — which is exactly why fans of glossy early-2000s trash actioners keep circling back to it.
