Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) is an indie sci-fi comedy with a romantic streak you can watch online on iFILM. Colin Trevorrow's feature debut grew out of a real classified ad seeking a time-travel partner.

Magazine intern Darius (Aubrey Plaza) tags along with two coworkers to track down the man behind the ad. He promises weapons, danger, and no guarantee of safety. That man turns out to be Kenneth (Mark Duplass), a twitchy grocery clerk convinced he has built a working time machine in his garage. Darius poses as a recruit to get the story, but the closer she gets, the harder it is to tell whether he is delusional or onto something. Jake Johnson and Kristen Bell fill out the cast.
