Synopsis
Babylon 5: In the Beginning (1998) is a science-fiction TV movie you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Michael Vejar, this 94-minute prequel fills in the backstory that the original Babylon 5 series only hinted at.
The 23rd century. A botched first-contact moment between Earth and the Minbari triggers a war of annihilation. Earth's forces are outmatched at every turn, and the extinction of humanity begins to look like a real outcome. Londo Mollari — the Centauri Emperor played by Peter Jurasik — narrates the events as a memory told to two children, giving the whole film a melancholy, elegiac weight. Bruce Boxleitner, Mira Furlan and Andreas Katsulas reprise their iconic roles.
