Years later the artifact lands by chance in the hands of an ordinary young man, Ilya, and his quiet life falls apart: dangerous people want it badly. Ilya has to trust an odd stranger who swears the object is the key to the library itself. A philologist named Arina signs on to crack the ciphers. From there it is a chase across forgotten corners of Russia, from Vologda to Naryan-Mar, underwater and into the tunnels beneath the Kremlin.

Directed by Gleb Orlov, the cast features Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Alexey Serebryakov, Diana Pozharskaya and Artyom Tkachenko.
