Synopsis
Sniper: Special Ops (2016) is a lean military action picture you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Fred Olen Ray and starring Steven Seagal, it follows a small special-ops unit sent into a remote Afghan village to pull out an American congressman held by the Taliban.
Sergeant Jake Chandler, the team's marksman, runs the rescue. The extraction works, but the firefight on the way back leaves soldiers wounded and the escape route cut off. Someone has to hold the line and keep the injured alive until backup arrives. The whole thing clocks in at a tight 84 minutes.
This is a budget-conscious genre piece, not a sweeping war epic — built for fans of squad shootouts and Seagal in fatigues.
