Synopsis
The Keeper (2009) is a Steven Seagal action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. LA detective Roland Sallinger barely survives a bullet from his own crooked partner, retires on medical grounds, and takes a quiet job guarding the daughter of a wealthy Texas businessman — an old friend from his days on the force.
The quiet job doesn't last. Mobsters grab the girl, and Sallinger goes after them alone through San Antonio. Director Keoni Waxman keeps it lean: short on dialogue, heavy on broken wrists and close-quarters takedowns. This was the first of many Seagal–Waxman collaborations, and it sets the template — no subplots, no fuss, just a tired pro doing what he does best.
