Synopsis
Matchstick Men (2003) is Ridley Scott's con-artist comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Roy Waller runs small-time phone scams with his partner Frank. The money is good. Roy himself barely leaves the house, hemmed in by panic attacks, twitches and a hunger for everything to stay spotless.
One phone call cracks his routine wide open. A fourteen-year-old named Angela shows up at his door — the daughter he never knew he had. She figures out how her father makes a living and, instead of recoiling, asks him to teach her the trade. Her gift for it turns out to be unsettling. And along with it comes the one thing a seasoned grifter fears more than any cop: caring about someone. Nicolas Cage plays the neurotic on the edge, Sam Rockwell his loose-cannon sidekick, Alison Lohman the daughter you believe right up to the final frame.
