Synopsis
Kotaro Lives Alone Season 1 is the Netflix anime drama-comedy you can watch online on iFILM — ten episodes about a four-year-old who moves into a run-down apartment block by himself, with no parents anywhere in sight.
Next door lives Karino, a broke manga artist who slowly gets pulled into the boy's odd little world. Kotaro talks like the samurai hero from his favorite cartoon. He hoards balloons. He teaches a pampered friend to fend for himself and insists on the expensive, "sweet" tissues. Every quirk hides a reason, and Karino keeps uncovering them one by one. By the final episodes you start to understand how a child learned to live this independently — and why.
