A chainsaw, a college campus, and a killer assembling victims like a jigsaw — the slasher Pieces (1982) is ready to watch online on iFILM. Spanish director Juan Piquer Simón delivered one of the most notorious exploitation films of the decade.

On a Boston university campus, young women are being cut apart with a power saw. Each time, the murderer keeps a body part, slowly piecing together a grisly human puzzle. The local police are stumped, so a worn-down detective (Christopher George) teams with an undercover tennis pro turned cop (Lynda Day George) to bait the killer out. Everyone's a suspect: the oily dean, the groundskeeper with the cleaver, the anatomy professor. Edmund Purdom and Jack Taylor round out the cast.

This isn't a careful thriller — it's pure grindhouse: laughable dubbed dialogue, plot turns that make no sense, and buckets of fake blood. That's exactly why Pieces became a midnight-movie staple, a film that horrifies and cracks you up in the same breath. Best watched with a crowd and zero expectations of logic.
