Synopsis
Gangnam Blues (강남 1970, 2015) is a South Korean crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Yoo Ha and starring Lee Min-ho alongside Kim Rae-won. Two childhood friends who scrape by as street scavengers on the fringes of 1970s Seoul get drawn into rival mob factions overnight.
Jong-dae and Yong-ki end up on opposite sides of a brutal turf war over land in Gangnam — back when that now-gleaming district was just mudflats south of the Han River. The government's redevelopment push turns the area into a battlefield, and every gangster, politician, and landlord is grabbing what they can. The two men have to choose between loyalty and survival.
