Synopsis

A beloved young woman vanished from a small town, and years later her body turned up. The man arrested for it had been here before, once held for another girl's murder and then freed when the evidence ran thin. History repeats: too little to convict, so he walks again and returns to a town that despises him. Then, during the autumn festival parade, he is killed in plain sight.
Yukawa teams with detectives Kaoru Utsumi and Shunpei Kusanagi to crack not the who but the how, the signature move of the whole Galileo series. Adapted from a Keigo Higashino novel and directed by Hiroshi Nishitani, it keeps a cool, patient pulse, with Masaharu Fukuyama back as the physicist who trusts logic over hunches.
