Synopsis
HK: Forbidden Super Hero (2013) is an absurd Japanese action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It adapts Keishu Ando's notorious manga about the most ridiculous superhero ever drawn.
High schooler Kyosuke is the star of his school's kempo club and the son of a detective, with a strong inherited sense of justice. When he rushes to save his crush Aiko, he grabs something to hide his face — and ends up pulling a pair of women's panties over his head instead of a mask, unlocking ludicrous superpowers. Blame the genes: a masochist father and a sadist mother passed down a very particular skill set. Ryohei Suzuki plays it all with a straight face and a chiseled physique, and the more seriously he poses in his underwear mask, the funnier it gets. Director Yuichi Fukuda goes all-in on filth and parody, true to its "Panty Bless You" tagline. Built for fans of gleefully stupid Japanese trash comedy.
